Image Cropper

Crop images to any rectangle online, free.

Image Cropper cuts a rectangular area out of your picture. Enter where the crop starts and how wide and tall it should be in pixels, and the tool returns just that part of the image.

The starting point is measured from the top-left corner of the image. Start X is the distance from the left edge and Start Y is the distance from the top edge. If the crop area extends past the edge of the picture, it is trimmed to the image boundary. This tool works with exact numbers instead of dragging a box on the screen, which makes it precise and repeatable, for example when you need to crop many images with the same settings. All images you upload in one go are cropped with the same values.

How to use Image Cropper

  1. Click the upload field and choose one or more images (up to 20 MB each).
  2. Enter Start X and Start Y. Use 0 and 0 to begin at the top-left corner.
  3. Enter the crop width and height in pixels.
  4. Press Generate and download your cropped image.

Tips for better results

  • Not sure about the dimensions? Check them first with the Image Dimension Checker.
  • For a square result, use the same number for width and height. For a round result, try the Circle Crop tool.
  • Cropping removes pixels permanently, so keep a copy of the original.
